Short Breaks on Garda Lake

The 3 star La Quiete Park Hotel has prepared for you a great value short midweek break deal on Lake Garda. With this 4-nights-deal you will save 10% on the actual night rate per person in Half Board: it is definitely an opportunity worth checking if you are thinking about a short holiday break in the Italian lakes.

Lake Garda is the largest Italian lake. Lake Garda coast is a very popular destination for those who wish to spend sunny holidays in an area characterised by history, culture and a great food, wine and olive oil tradition. The 3 star La Quiete Park Hotel is located in the town of Manerba del Garda, on the southwest coast of the Lake, in the region Lombardy. The cities of Brescia and Verona are quite close and so are the main Lake Garda destinations that you might think about discovering while staying in Manerba: Desenzano, Salò and Peschiera are at a very short distance, but you could even think about taking a small cruise around the lake.

The area around Manerba del Garda and this area of the lake has indeed a lot to offer for any type of tourist, if you love outdoor activities you have plenty to choose from, as you can practice wandering, cycling, swimming or even paddleboarding or canyoning. If you are a tennis fan, the hotel itself has tennis clay courts if you wish to practice (ask the reception desk for rates and reservations). For bikers, La Quiete is a certified bike hotel and has bicycles available for you as well as maps and a well-equipped bike room.

If you are picking Garda Lake to enjoy calm, you can feel immersed in it while staying in the garden of the hotel, equipped with a pool, or in the the nice Manerba beach at about 50 metres from La Quiete Park hotel. If you like to visit local areas instead and would like to learn more about Italian food and wine, you can try wine or olive oil tasting or even check out the Lemon Grove houses around the lake which produce the lovely local Limoncello.

Close to the beach of Manerba you will find Porto Torchio, a small port with a nice cafe. In Porto Torchio you can rent a boat (there is both boats that need a licence to be used and others who do not) and enjoy waves and sun or visit the close island known as Isola di San Biagio. In front of the beach there is also another small island known as Isola del Garda which you could visit, but not with your own boat - as the island is private, you will have access to some boat guided tour arranged by the owners, with Porto Torchio as starting point (ask the reception desk, they will be happy to help booking one). It is a visit definitely worth as on the island there is a beautiful villa with terraces and gardens where you will really enjoy “la Dolce Vita”.

There is really a lot to do in Lake Garda and Manerba itself, but if you have any special wish or question, you can contact us to ask more about the area and the different opportunities. We want to make this short break in the Italian lakes the best holiday you ever had!
